In 2012, Laura took a two week carving course at Horsin' Around Carving School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where she began building Bonnie. She continued working on the horse on nights and weekends in Brooklyn, and five months later Bonnie debuted in the holiday windows at McNally Jackson bookstore in SoHo, NYC.

I frequently get asked to design lapel pins, but please know that to make a batch of 50 pins starts at $300 simply for them to get made. In addition, there would be a design fee, as well as the cost of the card backs and shipping. I do all the correspondence with the manufacturer.
